Abstract
V diplomskem delu sem se osredotočila na vlogo vzgojitelja pri spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja predšolskih otrok. V teoretičnem delu sem opredelila govor in jezik, predstavila glavne teorije govornega razvoja ter njihove razlike in podobnosti, nadaljevala sem z odnosom med mišljenjem in govorom. Podrobneje sem opisala dejavnike, ki vplivajo na otrokov govorno-jezikovni razvoj ter faze govorno-jezikovnega razvoja. Opisala pa sem tudi vlogo vzgojitelja pri spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja predšolskih otrok, na kakšen način ga lahko v vrtcu spodbuja in vaje, ki jih lahko uporablja za spodbujanje le-tega.
V empiričnem delu sem raziskala vlogo vzgojitelja pri spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja predšolskih otrok v zasavskih vrtcih. V raziskavo je vključenih 60 zasavskih vzgojiteljev predšolskih otrok. Izvedena je v skladu s kvantitativno raziskovalno paradigmo. Uporabljena je deskriptivna oz. opisna metoda pedagoškega raziskovanja. Rezultati so interpretirani z osnovno deskriptivno statistiko s pomočjo preglednic, grafov ter v besedni obliki. Analiza je pokazala, da se vzgojitelji v zasavskih vrtcih zavedajo pomena njihove vloge pri spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja otrok. V skupinah uporabljajo potrebne dejavnosti, didaktični material ter vaje za spodbujanje le-tega. Zavedajo se tudi, da je pomemben partnerski odnos med vzgojitelji in starši. Z raziskavo sem pridobila vpogled v trenutno stanje in težave, s katerimi se srečujejo vzgojitelji pri spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja otrok.

In my diploma thesis I focused on the role of the educator in promoting the speech-language development of pre-school children. In the theoretical part I defined speech and language, presented the main theories of speech development and their differences and similarities. I continued with the relationship between thinking and speaking. I have described in more detail the factors that influence the children's language-linguistic development and phases of speech-language development. I also described the role of the educator in promoting the speech-language development of pre-school children, ways in which it can be promoted in the kindergarten and the exercises that can be used to promote it.
In the empirical part, I researched the role of the educator in promoting the speech-language development of pre-school children in kindergartens in Zasavje. The study included 60 preschool teachers and was carried out in accordance with a quantitative research paradigm. The descriptive method of pedagogical research was used. The results are interpreted with basic descriptive statistics using spreadsheets, graphs and summaries. The analysis showed that the teachers in kindergartens in Zasavje are aware of the importance of their role in promoting the speech-language development of children. They use the necessary activities, didactic materials and exercises to promote it. They are aware that a good relationship between educators and parents is crucial. Through the research, I gained insight into the current situation and the problems that teachers face in promoting the speech-language development of children. |
