Abstract

Vse hitrejši ritem življenja v današnjem času in nenehno prilagajanje spremembam lahko pri posamezniku glede na njegove karakteristike, povzročita občutke napetosti, nemira in pritiskov, ki vplivajo tako na njegovo zasebno kot poklicno življenje in ga lahko vodijo v stres. Organizacije in podjetja se stresu pri zaposlenih izogibajo kolikor lahko, saj menijo, da bi soočenje s pojavom stresa in njegovo odpravljanje povzročilo le dodatne stroške. Preprečevanja oz. odpravljanja stresa se morata tako organizacija kot posameznik lotiti premišljeno in dosledno. Vzroke in posledice stresa, ki jih čutijo zaposleni v enem izmed proizvodnih podjetij, ki se ukvarja s predelavo aluminija, smo raziskali v magistrskem delu z naslovom Analiza ravni stresa zaposlenih v podjetju X. Magistrsko delo sestoji iz dveh delov, in sicer iz teoretičnega in empiričnega. Najprej smo raziskali literaturo, v kateri je predstavljen stres. Preučili smo vrste stresa, podali definicije stresa in opredelili izvore stresa. Definirali smo znake stresa, ki se pojavijo pri posamezniku in se lahko pokažejo kot posledice stresa ter bistveno vplivajo na posameznikovo zasebno življenje in na dinamičnost organizacije, kjer je posameznik zaposlen. Predstavili smo tudi metode obvladovanja stresa, ki se jih poslužujejo posamezniki in organizacije. Osrednji del magistrskega dela predstavlja empirični del. V njem smo z anketnim vprašalnikom raziskali, kaj povzroča stres pri zaposlenih v podjetju X. S pomočjo anketnih rezultatov smo tudi izpostavili najpogostejši znak stresa in najučinkovitejše tehnike za premagovanje stresa, ki se jih poslužujejo zaposleni v podjetju X. Z raziskavo smo prav tako ugotovili, katera je najpogostejša aktivnost, ki jo izvaja podjetje X z namenom zmanjševanja in preprečevanja stresa. Na podlagi rezultatov smo hipoteze tudi preverili.

Secondary abstract: Increasing pace of time nowadays and constant adapting to changes can cause an individual, based on his/hers characteristics, to feel tense, restless and under pressure. Those feelings may affect his/hers personal and professional life and can lead into stress. Organizations and companies avoid dealing with stress of employees as much as they can, because they are of the opinion that dealing and preventing stress would cause only more expenses. Preventing and eliminating stress should be tackled thoughtfully and consistently by the organizations and the individuals. We have explored causes and effects of stress of employees in one of the production companies that deals with processing of aluminum in a master thesis called Stress level analysis of employees in a company X. Master thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical and an empirical one. First, we researched literature about stress. We studied different types of stress, provided definitions of stress, and defined the origins of stress. We defined signs of stress that can appear in an individual because of stress and fundamentally affect individual’s private life and the dynamic of an organization where he/she works. We presented methods for coping with stress that are used by individuals and organizations. Main part of the master thesis is the empirical part. With the help of a questionnaire, we researched what causes employees from company X to be stressed. Based on our results we also exposed the most common sign of stress and the most effective way of dealing with stress that is used by employees in a company X. With our research we have also discovered which is the most used stress-preventive and stress-overcoming activity in company X. Based on our results we have checked our hypothesis.
