Abstract
Uvod: Delo v psihiatrični zdravstveni negi je zelo specifično in zahtevno, zaradi česar so zaposleni velikokrat izpostavljeni stresu. Če posameznik stresa ne zna obvladati, se le to lahko začne kazati v različnih bolezenskih oblikah. Člani negovalnega tima si lahko pomagajo obvladovati stres z različnimi metodami, kot so sproščanje, fizična aktivnost in meditacija. Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kako anketirani člani negovalnega tima na psihiatričnem področju obvladujejo stres.
Raziskovalne metode: V diplomskem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela s študijem tuje in slovenske strokovne literature. V empiričnem delu smo uporabili kvantitativno metodo dela s tehniko anketiranja. Anketirali smo 30 oseb, ki so delali na psihiatričnem področju. Anketiranje je potekalo decembra 2017. Anketni vprašalnik je vseboval 18 vprašanj odprtega in zaprtega tipa. Pridobljene podatke smo analizirali, grupirali in izračunali deleže in predstavili opisno ter grafično.
Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da anketirani svoje delo pogosto doživljajo kot stresno. Menijo, da je najbolj pogost dejavnik za stres zelo pogosto verbalno in neverbalno nasilje pacientov, najbolj stresna pa se jim zdi narava dela. Najbolj pogost način obvladovanja stresa, ki se ga poslužujejo anketirani je druženje in pogovor z prijatelji.
Diskusija in zaključek: Člani negovalnega tima v psihiatrični zdravstveni negi so vsak dan pod vplivom stresa, vendar se organizira premalo usposabljanj, delavnic in srečanj z tematiko obvladovanja stresa. Anketirani člani negovalnega tima na psihiatričnem področju menijo, da bi najbolj pripomoglo k zmanjševanju stresa možnost supervizije in boljši medsebojni odnosi.

Coping with stress by members of the nursing team in psychiatric department |

Introduction: Work in psychiatric nursing is very specific and demanding, which makes employees often exposed to stress. If an individual does not know how to cope with stress, this can only begin to appear in various signs of illness. The members of the nursing team can help themselves to cope with stress with various methods such as relaxation, physical activity and meditation. The purpose of the study was to determine how the members of the nursing team in the psychiatric field manage stress.
Research Methods: In academic degree we used the descriptive method of work with studying foreign and Slovenian professional literature. In the empirical part we used a quantitative method with survey technique. We surveyed 30 people who worked in psychiatric field. The survey was conducted in December 2017. The survey questionnaire contained 18 questions of an open and closed type. The obtained data was analyzed, grouped and presented descriptively and graphically.
Results: The respondents find their work often stressful. In their opinion is the most common factor for stress verbal and non-verbal violence of patients and the nature of their work are the most coomon reasons for stress. In case of stress employees usually contact their family and colleagues. The most common way of coping with stress that the respondents use is socializing and talking with friends.
Discussion and Conclusion: The members of the nursing team in psychiatric nursing care are daily affected by stress, but in purpose to help individuals to cope with the stress there are not organized enough trainings, workshops and meetings with the topic of stress mastery. Respondents believe that the greatest possible contribution to reducing stress would be the possibility of supervision and better mutual relationship. |
