Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava, kako in na kakšen način predšolskim otrokom predstaviti in jih seznaniti s kulturno dediščino občine Šentjur s pomočjo slikanic, ki so vezane na domači kraj. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni definicija kulturne dediščine, kako otroke z njo seznanjamo v vrtcu in kako slikanice pripomorejo k spoznavanju kulturne dediščine. Predstavljeni so tudi občina Šentjur, rodbina Ipavec ter Anton Martin Slomšek. Cilji diplomskega dela so otroke seznaniti s kulturno dediščino Šentjurja preko slikanic o Ipavcih in Slomšku ter izvesti dejavnosti v vrtcu, jih evalvirati in kritično vrednotiti. V praktičnem delu so zapisane analize izbranih slikanic in predstavitev dejavnosti, izvedenih v vrtcu. Namen izvajanja dejavnosti je otrokom predstaviti dve slikanici: Hiša glasbe (2010), avtorice Zvezdane Majhen in ilustratorke Mojce Cerjak, ter Učilnica pod orehi (2012), avtorice Maje Furman in ilustratorke Andreje Gregorič, ki sta vezani na nesnovno kulturno dediščino občine Šentjur.

Secondary title: Cultural heritage of Šentjur for preschool children
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis discusses ways of presenting and introducing cultural heritage of the municipality of Šentjurto preschool children through a picture book that refers to a home town. Definition of cultural heritage, familiarizing kindergarten children with heritage and contribution of picture books to discovering cultural heritage are presented in the theoretical part. The municipality of Šentjur, family Ipavec and Anton Martin Slomšek are presented as well. Goals of this diploma thesis were familiarizing children with cultural heritage of Šentjur through picture books about Ipavec family and Slomšek, performing activities in the kindergarten, assessing them and performing critical evaluation. Analyses of selected picture books and presentation of activities performed in kindergarten are recorded in the practical part. The purpose of performing activities is to introduce two picture books to children: Hiša glasbe (2010), written by Zvezdana Majhen and illustrated by Mojca Cerjak and Učilnica pod orehi (2012), written by Maja Furman and illustrated by Andreja Gregorič, which are both refer to immaterial cultural heritage of the municipality of Šentjur.
