Abstract

Razložimo osnovne koncepte oglaševanja in družbenih medijev ter vpliva angleškega jezika na slovenski jezik. Opišemo jezik oglasov in zakonsko podlago za njegovo uporabo.

Secondary title: Anglicisms in Facebook advertisements (case study)
Secondary abstract: With the appearance of globalization, the influence of the English language on the Slovenian language has increased. This can be seen on different fields especially in online advertising. In our thesis we create a theoretical basis for this phenomenon, where we explain the basic concept of advertising, social media and the influence of the English language on the Slovenian language. We also describe the language of advertisements and the legal basis for its use. After introducing anglicisms in the theoretical part, we determine the frequency of their use in Facebook advertisements in the empirical part. Finally, we highlight some special features, which appear in the advertising and answer our research questions.
