Abstract

Pri načrtovanju procesa mehanske obdelave z odrezovanjem je eden ključnih vplivnih faktorjev obraba orodja, ki nastane kot posledica delovanja različnih sil med procesom obdelave. V skladu z modernizacijo sodobne proizvodnje magistrsko delo vključuje razvoj optične merilne celice za nadzor in meritev rezalnega orodja. Le-ta pa zajema načrtovanje, konstruiranje in izdelavo merilne celice, ki omogoča pritrditev kamere in njen premik v x in y smeri, ter ustrezno vpetje orodja. Vključuje tudi implementacijo algoritma za zajem slike s kamere ter njeno obdelavo z detekcijo robov, pretvorbo koordinatnega sistema kamere v koordinatni sistem orodja ter pretvorbo slikovnih pik v milimetre. Končni izhodni parameter meritve je vrednost x in y komponente konice rezalnega robu.

Secondary title: Tool wear measurement using the machine vision system
Secondary abstract: When we are planning a machining process, tool wear is one of the key influential factors. It occurs because of the various forces at work during the machining process. In accordance with the modernization of present-day production, this master's thesis includes the development of an optical measurement cell for controlling and measuring the wear of the cutting tool. This demands the planning, construction, and preparation of a measurement cell that enables the camera to be attached, the x and y values to be modified, and the tool to be adequately fitted. It also entails the implementation of an algorithm for acquiring an image from the camera, processing the image by means of edge detection, converting the camera’s coordinate system into the coordinate system of the tool, and converting pixels to millimeters. The final output parameter of the measurement are the x and y values the tip’s cutting edge.
