Abstract
Teoretična izhodišča: Število ljudi z demenco tako v svetu kot v Sloveniji strmo narašča, zato je zelo pomembno, da zgodaj prepoznamo in odkrijemo prve znake demence. Pri zdravstveni negi osredotočeni na osebo z demenco je pomembno, da si medicinske sestre pridobijo potrebna znanja in veščine. Na osebo osredotočena zdravstvena nega je holistični pristop, ki obravnava osebo kot individualno živo bitje ter upošteva njene potrebe in vrednote in je mednarodno najbolj priznan pristop za kakovostno obravnavo osebe z demenco.
Raziskovalne metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili kvalitativno metodologijo z metodo opazovanja. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo ocenjevalnega lista s 13 trditvami.
Rezultati: V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da negovalno osebje izvaja zdravstveno nego osredotočeno na osebo z demenco. Ugotovili smo, da negovalno osebje pri svojem delu uporablja pristop na osebo osredotočene zdravstvene nege.
Diskusija in zaključek: Pri zdravstveni negi osredotočeni na osebo z demenco je pomembna holistična obravnava osebe z demenco. Za ta pristop je potrebno kontinuirano izobraževanje medicinskih sester.

Theoretical background: The number of people with dementia in Slovenia is steadily rising, which is why it is very important, we recognize early and discover the first signs of dementia. In nursing focused on person-centred care is important that nurses acquire knowledge and skills. A person-centered care is a holistic approach that treats a person as an individual living entity and takes into account its needs and values and is internationally the most recognized approach to the quality treatment of a person with dementia.
Methodology: In the final work we used the qualitative methodological design with observing as a method. We collected the data using a 13-assists evaluation tool.
Results: In the study, we found that nursing staff provide person-centered nursing care in people living with dementia. We also found that the nursing staff, uses a person-centered health care approach in their work.
Conclusion: A person centered care in nursing person living with dementia is a holistic approach. For this is necessary that nurses are constantly educated. |
