Abstract

Zaključna naloga obravnava uporabo 3D tiskalnika Ultimaker 3 za tiskanje preizkušancev po metodi ciljnega nalaganja (FDM). Preizkušanci se med seboj razlikujejo po stopnji zapolnitve, notranji strukturi in legi na delovni mizi. Preizkušance smo tiskali za Charpyjev udarni preizkus in tritočkovni upogibni preizkus. Rezultate teh preizkusov smo ovrednotili in jih na koncu še primerjali z enakimi preizkušanci natisnjenih na 3D tiskalniku Ultimaker 2. Ugotovili smo, da imajo vzorci, natisnjeni z Ultimaker 3, boljše mehanske lastnosti in so bolj konsistentni.

Secondary abstract: This paper focuses on production and testing of samples made with an Ultimaker 3 3D printer, using the focused deposition modelling (FDM) process. Main printing parameters of produced samples are infill density, infill pattern and position on build plate. The samples were subjected to a Charpy impact test and three point flexural test. The test results were evaluatated and compered to those of samples produced by an older Ultimaker 2 printer using the same parameter values. The comparison showed that samples produced by the Ultimaker 3 have better mechanical properties and are more consistent.
