Secondary abstract: | Digital technologies are becoming more and more prevalent in today´s modern society. E-commerce already plays an integral part in how companies and institutions operate. Employees need to adapt to the requirements of new technologies in order to complete work tasks. Digital competence plays a vital role in the adaptation to these requirements. Therefore, the need to develop digital competence is no longer restricted to primary and secondary education, but it has become a lifelong process. Our research of the digital competence will focus on the influence of the individual’s attitude towards aging and gerontophobia on the acquired level of digital competence. |
