Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava medvrstniško nasilje v osnovni šoli in se osredotoča na vidik učenca. Zaključenih je že kar nekaj raziskav, ki se nanašajo na nasilje v šolah, in rezultati so pokazali, da veliko šol poroča, da je nasilje postalo resen problem. Nasilju smo lahko priča povsod. Lahko se izvaja na ulicah, v domovih in tudi v šoli. Cilj naloge je povečati občutljivost pedagoških delavcev v šolah, staršev in raziskovalcev za pojav nasilja. S povečano občutljivostjo lahko nudimo otrokom šolo kot varen prostor, v katerem se bodo učenci lahko osebnostno razvijali, ter pripomoremo k izboljšanju šolskega okolja za učence.
V empiričnem delu sem raziskala, kako učenci opredeljujejo nasilje, kakšna ravnanja v primeru nasilja poznajo, kako vidijo vlogo učitelja v primeru nasilja in kakšni so njihovi predlogi za zmanjševanje nasilja. Raziskava je temeljila na individualnih intervjujih z osmimi učenci osnovnih šol iz osrednje slovenske regije. Za tovrstno raziskavo sem se odločila, ker temelji na subjektivnih pripovedih učencev in ponuja podrobnejši pogled na izkušnje učencev v šolah. Učenci so zaupali, da imajo pozitiven odnos z učitelji ter jim v večini zaupajo v primerih nasilja, prav tako pa so povedali, da je nasilje v šoli pogost pojav.

Peer violence from the perspective of students of primary school |
Secondary abstract: |
The master thesis deals with peer violence in elementary school and focuses on the aspect of the student. A number of studies have been completed relating to school violence and the results have shown that many schools report that violence has become a serious problem at their school. We can witness violence everywhere. It can be done on the streets, in homes, and also at school. However, in many cases, children are quiet. In this case, I find it only important to ask why. Do children not trust adults and why, adults have often disappointed children, did not take them seriously ... The goal of the task is to increase the sensitivity of pedagogical workers in schools, parents and researchers for the phenomenon of this violence. With increased sensitivity, we can offer children a school as a safe space in which students can personally develop and contribute to improving the school environment for pupils.
In empirical work, I investigated how pupils define violence, what behaviour in the case of violence they know, how they see the role of teacher in the case of violence, and what are their proposals for reducing violence. The research was based on individual interviews with eight elementary school students from the central Slovenian region. I decided for this kind of research because it is based on the subjective narratives of the students and offers a more detailed view of the pupils' experiences in schools. |
