Abstract

Minilo je eno leto od vetroloma, ki je povzročil veliko škode v gozdovih. Ker se izredni dogodki v gozdovih vrstijo že nekaj let, je pogled na potek sanacije pomemben, pomembna pa je tudi razprava med deležniki, ki so kakorkoli vpleteni v potek sanacije. Po ocenah Zavoda za gozdove Slovenije (ZGS) je bilo v vetrolomu, ki je v decembru 2017 prizadel gozdove, poškodovanih 2,9 milijona m3 drevja za posek, škoda pa je bila ocenjena na 48 milijonov evrov. Tako je bilo po ocenah ZGS od leta 2014 poškodovanega že več kot 19 mili. m3 drevja, skupna škoda pa je ocenjena na skoraj 400 milijonov evrov. Ko se soočamo s situacijo, ko sanitarni posek predstavlja več kot 60 % letnega poseka, sta nujna komunikacija in usklajeno delovanje različnih akterjev pri sanaciji naravnih ujm v gozdovih. Potrebna je kritična ocena minulega ukrepanja, pa tudi prilagajanje ukrepov novim situacijam, dialog med akterji in učenje iz storjenih napak. Korak v tej smeri je bil tudi posvet, ki smo ga 19. 12. 2018 organizirali na Gozdarskem inštitutu Slovenije in se ga je udeležilo več kot 65 predstavnikov gozdarskih podjetji, raziskovalnih institucij, javnih zavodov, interesnih združenj in državnih institucij.

Secondary abstract: A year passed since the windthrow causing a lot of damage in forests. As such events in the forests occur for some years, it is important to take a look at the course of the restoration; also the discussion among the stakeholders, anyhow involved in the rehabilitation course, is important. According to the evaluation of the Slovenia Forest Service (SFS), in the windthrow hitting the forests in December 2017, 2.9 million m3 of trees intended for harvesting and the damage was estimated to amount to 48 million Euros. Also according to the SFS evaluation, since 2014 over 19 million m3 trees have been damaged and total damage amounted to almost 400 million Euros. As we face the situation where sanitary felling amounts to over 60 % of annual harvest, communication and harmonized actions of diverse actors in rehabilitation of forests after natural disasters are needed. A critical evaluation of the performed actions and also adjustment of the measures to the new situations, dialogue between agents, and learning from mistakes are necessary. A step in this direction was also the conference, organized at Slovenian Forestry Institute on December 19, 2018, and which was attended by over 65 representatives of forestry companies, research institutions, public institutions, interest associations, and state institutions.
