Abstract

Secondary title: Topology optimization of the jaws of the robotic gripper
Secondary abstract: In the master thesis, the process of topology optimisation of robotic gripper jaws is shown. The aim was to design the geometry of jaws with lowest possible mass. Two models have been made, which were first analysed with a finite element method, using Abaqus CAE software. The topology optimisation process has been done with the use of CAESS ProTOp software. The result of the optimisation were two geometry designs of jaws with a significantly lower mass and without any stress concentration. At the end also, the reconstruction of a geometry design was conducted, to get a parametrised geometry design.
