Abstract

Osnovni namen magistrskega dela je osvetliti vlogo starševske učne pomoči pri reprodukciji družbene neenakosti v Sloveniji, pri čemer sem se glede družbenega položaja staršev osredotočila na njihov kulturni kapital. Slednjega sem ugotavljala na osnovi najvišje dosežene formalne izobrazbe obeh staršev in glede na obseg kulturne potrošnje celotne družine. Dodatno je bil cilj preučiti, kakšno je mnenje učiteljev glede pomena in vpliva starševske učne pomoči otroku.

Secondary abstract: The main purpose of this master's thesis was to highlight the role of parental learning assistance in the reproduction of social inequality in Slovenia, whereby, regarding the social position of parents, I concentrated on their cultural capital. I determined this on the basis of the highest attained formal education of both parents and the extent of the cultural consumption of the entire family. In addition, the aim was to examine the views of teachers on the importance and impact of parental learning assistance to the child.
