Abstract

Odnosi z javnostmi predstavljajo skupek komunikacij ter odnosov med organizacijo in javnostjo. Organizacije se med seboj razlikujejo tudi glede na pridobitno ali nepridobitno funkcijo, v diplomskem delu pa smo na primeru Mariboxa in Zavoda za Novodobno Izobraževanje raziskali, ali ta funkcija vpliva na delovanje odnosov z javnostmi. Uporabili smo deskriptivno, komparativno in kvalitativno metodo, s pomočjo katerih smo ugotovili, da se odnosi z javnostmi tako v teoriji kot tudi v praksi razlikujejo glede na pridobitno oz. nepridobitno funkcijo. V obeh organizacijah se odnosi z javnostmi vedno bolj gradijo preko socialnih omrežij, vendar se v Mariboxu, v primerjavi z Zavodom za novodobna izobraževanja, izmed orodij pri odnosih z javnostmi pogosteje poslužujejo organizacije dogodkov ter vedno bolj sodelovanja z vplivneži in ne toliko socialnih omrežij. Maribox sodeluje z zunanjimi strokovnimi sodelavci za odnose z javnostmi, medtem ko Zavod za Novodobno Izobraževanje odnosom z javnostmi nameni manj časa, prav tako nima zaposlenega strokovnega sodelavca oz. ne sodeluje z zunanjimi izvajalci samo za to področje.

Secondary abstract: Public relations represent a set of communications and relationships between the organization and the public. Organizations differ from one another also on the basis of their profit or non-profit function, and in the following thesis we were researching whether this function incluences the operation of public relations. We researched the operation of public relations in two organisations: Maribox and the Institute for New Age Education. We used descriptive, comparative and qualitative methods, which showed that public relations, both in theory and in practice, differ in terms of their profit or non-profit function. In both researched organizations public relations are being increasingly built through social networks. Anyway, in Maribox the most frequently used tool for public relations is organization of events and cooperation with influencers, while for Institute for New Age Education social media is on the first place. Maribox cooperates with external experts in public relations, while the Institute for New Age Education dedicates less time in this area and does not have an employee or a professional associate specified only for this area.
