Secondary abstract: | This master's thesis describes the procedure for automatically adjusting permanent magnet synchronous motor controllers for current and velocity control. The tuning of the controllers is based on the electrical in the mechanical parameters of the PMSM, therefore the parameter detection procedure is described. In the first part of the master's thesis, the goal was to describe the theoretical background of PMSM motors and how to control it. In the second part, the goal was to build methods for identifying the PMSM parameters and to set the controller value according to measured parameters. The methods are implemented in the emDrive controller and tested on EMRAX208 motor. |
