Abstract

Današnji tempo življenja zagotovo vsakega izmed nas kdaj pripelje v stresno situacijo. Povod je lahko nek dogodek, situacija, oseba ali predmet. Ker se temu pravzaprav ne moremo izogniti, je še toliko bolj pomembno, kako se s pojavom stresa soočamo. Največ je namreč odvisno od nas samih. V magistrskem delu smo analizirali izvore, posledice in načine premagovanja stresa pri zaposlenih v managementu podjetja Kozmetika Afrodita d.o.o. Magistrsko delo sestavljata teoretični in praktični del. S pomočjo tuje in slovenske znanstvene in strokovne literature smo zapisali definicije stresa, njegovo zgodovinsko razlago, vrste in modele stresa ter dimenzije, ki nam pomagajo razumeti, kako se ljudje razlikujejo pri obvladovanju stresa in kako individualne razlike vplivajo na odnos med dejavniki stresa in pojavom stresa pri posamezniku. Predstavili smo tudi potencialne dejavnike stresa, možne posledice stresa in načine za premagovanje stresa. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo rezultatov anketnega vprašalnika analizirali stres na ravni višjega, srednjega in nižjega managementa v podjetju Kozmetika Afrodita d.o.o.. Ugotovili smo, da so zaposleni izpostavljeni stresu, a ga dokaj uspešno obvladujejo. Pri tem jim pomaga tudi organizacija. Po posameznih sklopih smo predstavili rezultate anketnega vprašalnika. Ob koncu smo na podlagi le-teh potrdili oziroma zavrnili posamezne hipoteze in zapisali še nekaj priporočil za izboljšavo, po katerih bi se počutje zaposlenih v delovnem okolju podjetja Kozmetika Afrodita d.o.o. še izboljšalo.

Secondary abstract: Today's fast-paced tempo of life regularly leads to stressful situations. Stress can be caused by an event, a situation, a person or an object. We often cannot avoid it, which is why it is particularly important how we cope with stress, since much depends on ourselves. This master’s thesis analyses triggers, consequences and ways of overcoming stress among management staff at the company Kozmetika Afrodita d.o.o. The master’s thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, foreign and Slovenian scientific and technical literature was used to explain the definitions, historical interpretations, types and models of stress as well as the dimensions which help us understand the different ways of coping with stress and the effect of these individual differences on the relation between stressors and the occurrence of stress in individuals. Potential stressors, possible consequences of stress and ways of overcoming stress were also presented. In the empirical part, the results of a questionnaire were used to analyse stress among low-level, middle-level and top-level management at the company Kozmetika Afrodita d.o.o. The analysis shows that employees are under stress, but know how to manage it rather successfully, mostly due to good organisation. The results of the questionnaire were presented according to individual sections. Based on these results, the individual hypotheses were confirmed or rejected. Finally, suggestions on how to improve employee well-being were put forward.
