Abstract

V delu diplomskega projekta smo proučili izzive in konflikte, s katerimi se spopadajo skoraj vsa družinska podjetja. Kritičen trenutek družinskih podjetij je prenos poslov na naslednjo generacijo. V osrednjem teoretičnem delu diplomskega projekta smo predstavili osnovne zakonitosti delovanja družinskih podjetij. Zanimalo nas je, kako v teoriji ločimo družinska podjetja od ostalih poslovnih subjektov. Natančneje pa smo proučili teorijo prenosa posla na naslednjo generacijo ter konflikte, ki ob tem nastajajo. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili podjetje Geršak d. o. o.. Podjetje zaradi mladosti možnih naslednikov še ni preneslo poslov na naslednjo generacijo. Z opravljenimi intervjuji z managerjem/lastnikom ter najstarejšim možnim naslednikom smo prišli do sklepa, da podjetje še ne razmišlja o možnih naslednikih, prav tako še ni določen časovni okvir za predajo poslov. Posledično podjetje ni izdelalo nobenih pisnih aktov o pravilih v družinskem podjetju oziroma »družinske ustave«. Kljub mladosti možnih naslednikov družinskega podjetja se priporoča, da k uvajanju naslednje generacije vodstvenega managementa in lastnikov podjetja lastniki pristopijo čimprej, saj le to zagotavlja ustrezen prenos ter razvoj družinskega podjetja.

Secondary abstract: In the thesis we examined the challenges and conflicts that almost all family businesses face. The critical moment for family businesses is the transfer of business to the next generation. The theoretical part of the thesis we presented the basic laws of operation of family businesses. We were interested in how we, in theory, distinguish family businesses from other officialbusiness premises. We were also interested in the theory of transferring the business to the next generation and the conflicts that arise from it. In the empirical part of the thesis, we presented the company GeršakLtd.. The company has not yet transferred their business to the next generation due to the young age of the potential successors. Having interviewed the manager/owner of the business and the oldest potential successor, we have come to the conclusion that the company is not yet thinking aboutthe possible successors, and the time frame for thebusiness handover has not yet been set. As a result, the company did not produce any written acts on the rules of the family business or the so-called "family constitution." Despite the young age of the potential successors of the family business, it is recommended that the owners of the business begin training the succeeding managers and owners as soon as possible, this will ensure a proper transfer and development of the family business.
