Abstract

Vedno več ljudi je v današnjem hitrem tempu življenja izpostavljenih stresu, zato lahko rečemo stresu tudi novodobna bolezen. Veliko ljudi se stresa zaveda prepozno, ko se že razvijejo duševne, vedenjske ali telesne posledice. Nekateri se kljub zavedanju, da pri sebi opažajo negativne posledice stresa, ne poslužujejo pravilnih tehnik spopadanja z njim. Stres pa lahko ima tudi pozitiven vpliv, vendar moramo le tega znati izkoristiti in paziti, da ni prekomeren. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega projekta smo opredelili računovodstvo in delo računovodje, predstavili smo kodeks poklicne etike računovodje in pripravo letnega in računovodskega poročila. Opredelili smo stres in predstavili vrste stresa, opisali smo tudi različne izvore stresa ter posledice za posameznika in organizacijo. Zapisali smo tudi različne strategije, ki posamezniku pomagajo zmanjšati vpliv stresa. Predstavili smo tudi ukrepi, ki jih lahko izvede organizacija za premagovanje stresa pri zaposlenih. V empiričnem delu diplomskega projekta smo izvedli anketni vprašalnik med 60 zaposlenimi v podjetju X o tem, v kakšni meri občutijo stres, kakšne simptome opažajo, kaj jim povzroča največ stresa in kako oni sami ter kako podjetje skrbi za premagovanje le tega. Ugotovili smo, da zaposleni v podjetju X pri delu občutijo stres. Največkrat kot posledico za stres navajajo preobremenjenost z delom in pomanjkanje časa pri opravljanju nalog. Samo podjetje X po mnenju zaposlenih ne nameni dovolj pozornosti stresu.

Secondary title: Comparison of level of stress between accountants and other employees in the company X
Secondary abstract: More and more people nowadays are exposed to stress due to their fast paced life. Therefore this stress is named a modern disease. A lot of people are aware of the stress too late, when they already have encountered mental, behaviour as well as physical consequences. Even though some are aware of the negative consequences of stress they do not use the right techniques of dealing with stress. Stress, however, can have also a positive influence, but we must know how to use it and take care that it is not too much. In the theoretical part of the undergraduate thesis we have defined accounting and the work of an accountant, introduced the codex of occupational ethics of an accountant as well as the preparation of the annual financial report. We have defined stress and introduced types of stress, described different sources of stress as well as the consequences of stress of an individual and an organisation. We have introduced measures that an organisation can implement to overcome stress of the employees. In the empirical part of the undergraduate thesis we have carried out a questionnaire among 60 employees in the company x about the scale of the stress they feel, what symptoms they notice, what is most stressful at work and how they and the company deal with overcoming stress. We have found that the employees in the company x do feel stressed while working. In majority they have listed a consequence for stress, the overload caused by too much work and the lack of time in completing all the tasks demanded. The company x, according to the employees, does not focus enough on managing the stress.
