Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo ugotavljali, katere so tiste kompetence, ki jih iskalci prve zaposlitve imajo, in katere kompetence delodajalci pričakujejo od iskalcev prve zaposlitve. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali trg dela in probleme, s katerimi se srečujejo prvi iskalci zaposlitve. Stanje na trgu dela smo opisali s pomočjo javno dostopnih statističnih podatkov, problematiko iskanja zaposlitve pa s pregledom strokovne in znanstvene literature. Področje kompetenc smo opredelili na podlagi teorij, ki delijo kompetence na splošne, generične in delovno specifične, za potrebe izvedbe raziskave pa smo podrobneje opisali kompetence po N. E. Amundsonu . V empiričnem delu smo raziskovali, kako iskalci zaposlitve samoocenjujejo razvitost kompetenc pri sebi in katere izmed naštetih kompetenc delodajalci pričakujejo od iskalcev prve zaposlitve. V sklopu raziskovanja možnosti iskanja prostih delovnih mest na zaposlitvenih portalih za iskalce prve zaposlitve smo izdelali »wireframe« mobilne aplikacije, ki bi omogočala iskanje prostih delovnih mest glede na število izkušenj in kompetence. V končnem delu magistrske naloge smo predstavili kompetenčni model, ki ga lahko iskalci prve zaposlitve uporabijo kot vodilo, katere kompetence razvijati za lažji vstop na trg dela.

Secondary title: Competence model of first-time job seekers
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, we were determining what competencies first-time job seekers have, and what competencies employers expect from the first-job seekers. In the theoretical part, we discussed the labour market and the problems the first job seekers are facing. We described the labour market situation using the statistical data that is available publicly, and the problems with job seeking through technical and scientific literature. The competency area was described based on theories that divide competencies into basic, generic and work-specific. For the research purposes, we took a closer look at competencies as described by N. E. Amundson. In the empiric part we were trying to determine how job seekers self-assess the development of their competencies and which competencies employers expect to see from the first-time job seekers. As a part of exploring job-search options on job portals for first-time job seekers, we created a wireframe for a mobile application that would allow them to find job opportunities based on their experience and competencies. In the final part of this master’s thesis, we introduced a competencies model that the first-job seekers can use as a guide to what competencies they need to develop for an easier entry to the job market.
