Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo preučevali pomembnost likovnega jezika pri grafičnem oblikovanju logotipa za podjetje. Pri likovnem jeziku smo se osredotočili na likovne prvine, likovne spremenljivke in likovno kompozicijo. Pri preučevanju smo iskali vzporednice z oblikovanjem logotipa in pomembnost, ki jo le-ta določa. V drugem delu smo v ospredje postavili zgodovino logotipa in tipografijo. Pri tipografiji smo razdelali področje anatomije črke in značilnosti tipografskih vrst. Vse to znanje smo v tretjem delu združili v praktičen del. Na primeru logotipa LASER wood imagination smo predstavili, kako pomembno je imeti pri oblikovanju znanje likovnega jezika in tipografije, da na koncu dosežemo želeni rezultat.

Secondary title: The importance of fine art language in logo design
Secondary abstract: In this thesis we studied the importance of fine art language within graphic design of a company logo. We focused to the artistic elements, variables and composition. While researching we looked for parallels between logo design and the importance determined by the logo. In the second part we highlighted logo history and typography. Within typography we looked into letter anatomy and characteristics of typefaces. The pool of knowledge was introduced into practice in the third part. Using the LASER wood imagination logo as an example we conveyed the importance of possessing the knowledge of fine art language and typography so that at the end desired outcome is achieved.
