Abstract

Diplomsko delo proučuje vpliv ciljnega vodenja na uspešnost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v izbranem podjetju. S pomočjo domače in tuje literature je predstavljen pomen človeških virov v podjetju s poudarkom na pomembnosti kompetenc in zadovoljstva zaposlenih. Vodstveni stili so predstavljeni prek različnih teorij vodenja.

Secondary title: Management by objectives and its influence on employee satisfaction and effectiveness in the company x
Secondary abstract: This thesis examines the influence of management by objectives on the performance and satisfaction of employees in the chosen company. Using Slovene and international literature, it introduces the importance of human resources in the company, emphasizing the significance of competence in employee satisfaction. The leadership styles are presented through various management theories. The theoretical part closes by identifying the performance parameters of the company and employees as the final result of effective human resources management. Two online survey questionnaires are used in the survey: one for heads of departments and one for the employees. The results of the survey show that leadership styles differ from department to department, and in the end the most effective combination – as far as reaching goals set in advance and the satisfaction of employees are concerned – proves to be the combination of a number of leadership styles. The central management of all the departments is intertwined with management by objectives, the most evident being the participatory and consultative leadership styles.
