Abstract

Secondary title: Lean innovating
Secondary abstract: In this research, the starting point is the invention-innovation management and the associated Toyota's way of lean production as an innovation and example for other service and manufacturing companies. When defining inventive-innovation management and its importance for companies, we distinguish between craft production, mass production, and lean production. Then we determine their consequences over a longer period of time. We focus on the importance of integrity and creative thinking on all hierarchical levels and the promotion of innovative ideas in the company. On an example, we explain how the introduction of lean principles can reduce the so-called business outflows, which are seen as an unused time, storage, congestion, etc. And the importance of synergy of all employees in the company. Lowering costs and ensuring better quality output should not be a problem that is dealt with by upper management, but rather at all levels, so that the company can make maximum use of it's given capacities.
