Abstract
Metode: V raziskavi je sodelovalo 17 mladih preiskovancev (21,4 ± 2,3 leta), 12 žensk in 5 moških. Deset zaporednih dni so preiskovanci stali po eno minuto na mehki podlagi z odprtimi in zaprtimi očmi na pritiskovni plošči, s katero smo merili gibanje središča pritiska. Rezultati: Analiza desetih zaporednih meritev na mehki podlagi ni pokazala pomembnih razlik med zaporednimi meritvami vseh opazovanih spremenljivk gibanja središča pritiska pri odprtih in zaprtih očeh. Zaključek: Za pomembno zmanjšanje gibanja središča pritiska in povečanje stabilnosti med stojo na mehki podlagi je potrebna daljša enkratna vadbena enota oziroma daljše obdobje vadbe.

Effects of consecutive measurements of postural sway during standing on compliant surface |
Secondary abstract: |
Background: Movable and compliant surfaces are increasingly used in treating and evaluating postural balance. This so called proprioceptive training is a part of somatosensory training and is often an integral part of the balance specific exercise programmes. The purpose of the present work was to identify effects of consecutive measurements of postural sway during standing on compliant surface in a group of young healthy persons. Methods: 17 young persons (21.4 ± 2.3 years), 12 women and 5 men participated in the study. For ten consecutive days, the subjects stood for one minute on a soft surface with open and closed eyes on the force plate while measuring the postural sway, i.e., the center of pressure movement. Results: The analysis of ten consecutive measurements on a compliant surface did not show a significant reduction in all observed variables of the center of pressure movement with open and closed eyes. Conclusion: For a significant increase in stability during the stand on a compliant surface, a longer exercise period or longer sessions are required. |
