Abstract

Javne ceste so lahko zagotovile dostop vsem vozilom v 90 % primerov, protipožarne preseke I kategorije vsem svojim namenskim vozilom v 82 %, medtem ko protipožarne preseke II kategorije vsem svojim namenskim vozilom v 92 %.

Secondary title: Fire preventions roads in area of south Primorska
Secondary abstract: In this master thesis is fully presented fire prevention roads topic; from its road network analyses, till project of the new fire prevention road. Firstly whole road network, which can be used for fire prevention purpose in our research area was analyzed. This area covers a part of fire endangered land of South Primorska on total area of 47.936 ha. Results obtained from official map material were corrected with new data, obtained with field work. Considerating only official map material gave us insufficient relative openness (63 %) of the area. While considering corrected values, with non mapped roads, relative openness appeared to be satisfactory (80 %). The highlighted problem of additionally digitalized roads was that those were much worse placed in area for fire prevention purpose. Secondly the transportability of categories in map material for groups of assigned vehicles were checked. Results appeared, while relating only on official map material, vehicles can%t be optimally located around the area. 95 % transportability was set as sufficient. Public roads could provide approach to all vehicles in 90 %, fire prevention roads of category I to all of their assigned vehicles in 82 %, fire prevention roads of category II to all of their assigned vehicles in 92 %. On the other hand, lower categorized roads were often able to provide access to bigger vehicles, which also presents a distraction while undertaking rational decisions. At the end one priority area of opening was focused and there we planned two variants of new fire prevention roads. On base of multi-criteria comparison, decision for better variant was made and a project for its construction in total length of 1417 m prepared. Chosen variant opens 25,81 ha of closed areas and it improves relative openness of priority area for bigger assigned vehicles from 7,9 % to 30,8 %.
