Abstract

Pihalni orkestri in godbe že več kot 200 let pomembno oblikujejo življenja ljudi in ljubiteljsko kulturo na Slovenskem. Sam sem član takšne zasedbe od leta 1999, zato me delo in razvoj godb še posebej zanima. Tudi sam sem razvoj po letu 2000 občutil, zato o tem, da godbe napredujejo, ne dvomim. Želel sem poizvedeti, kako konkretno k razvoju pripomorejo slovenski skladatelji in kateri so. Ker želim, da je magistrsko delo razumljivo tudi ljubiteljskim glasbenikom, sem vključil začetke sestavljanja takšnih sestavov in tudi začetke na slovenskem območju ter jih združil s sedanjim dogajanjem na tem področju.

Secondary abstract:	Wind orchestras and community bands have had an important role in shaping the lives of people and amateur culture in Slovenia for over 200 years. I have been a member of such ensembles since 1999, which is why I find their work and development particularly interesting. I have also experienced and stood witness to their development after 2000 and I have no doubt about their progress. I set out to discover how Slovenian composers contributed to this development, and which ones were particularly important in this regard. As I wanted to make my Master's thesis comprehensible to amateur musicians as well, I also included chapters on the very beginnings of such orchestras and bands, and specifically their beginnings in Slovenia, and linked those to the current situation in the field.
