Abstract

Kulturni turizem predstavlja vedno pomembnejšo vejo turizma, obisk krajev, bogatih s kulturo, ustvarja občudovanje, nacionalni ponos in ponovno odkritje dosežkov naših prednikov. Namen turističnih aktivnosti v povezavi s kulturnim turizmom je učenje, odkrivanje novega in spoznavanje oprijemljivih in neoprijemljivih kulturnih znamenitosti. Za nadaljevanje trenda rasti kulturnega turizma je turistu treba ponuditi nekaj edinstvenega in drugačnega, kar med drugim lahko dosežemo tudi s tem, da proizvodu damo zgodbo. V magistrski nalogi smo se osredotočili na zgodbarjenje kot uspešno obliko interpretacije kulturne dediščine v muzeju, katerega osnovno poslanstvo je izobraževanje o zgodovini in širjenje zavedanja o pomembnosti kulturne ali naravne dediščine. Posebno pozornost smo namenili stopnji pomnjenja pridobljenih informacij ter dejavnikom, ki vplivajo na pomnjenje oz. na pridobljeno znanje. Za muzej je ključnega pomena, da ustvari najvišjo raven razumevanja. Tako lahko zgodovina s pomočjo ponujenih učinkovitih informacij dvigne raven čuječnosti obiskovalcev. V ta namen smo izvedli terenski eksperiment s kontrolno in testno skupino in na vzorcu ugotovili, da je uvedba produkta zgodbarjenja najbolj vplivala na stopnjo pomnjenja, prav tako pa so vidni pozitivni učinki na zadovoljstvu obiskovalcev.

Secondary abstract: Cultural tourism represents an increasingly important branch of tourism, and visiting places, which are enriched with culture, creates admiration, pride and rediscovery of the achievements of our ancestors. The purpose of tourism activities in connection with cultural tourism is to discover new things and to learn about tangible and intangible cultural sights. In order to continue the trend of cultural tourism growth, the tourist must be offered something unique and different, which can be achieved by linking the product with a story. This master’s thesis focuses on storytelling as a successful form of interpretation regarding the cultural heritage in a museum, whose primary mission is to educate people about the history and to spread the awareness of the importance of cultural or natural heritage. Special attention has been paid to the degree of memorization of the information obtained and to the factors affecting one’s memory including acquired knowledge. It is crucial for the museum to create the highest level of understanding. In this way, history can raise the level of visitors’ mindfulness by providing effective information. For this purpose, a field experiment was carried out with a control and test group. Based on the sample, it was established that the introduction of the storytelling product has the greatest impact on the memory level. However, there are also positive effects regarding the visitors’ satisfaction.
