Abstract

Decision model for selecting an online-only bank for business purposes |
Secondary abstract: |
Beside the brick-and-mortar banks, there are other digital solutions readily available to the modern micro-entities and accessible from their own office. Foreign online-only banks offer a reasonably simple and certainly quick access to basic business banking services. An abundance of information is available online. However, information is often unclear and not always directly comparable among the providers, which most often makes it harder for the potential user to produce a substantiated and useful decision. A multi-criteria decision model was created to consider the candidate providers that were chosen based on the inclusion criteria. Numerous criteria and a detailed comparison of the options offered form a serviceable decision aid, albeit a complex one. While being time-consuming because it requires a detailed data collection from often varied data sources, the model is fit to do the job. |
