Abstract
Magistrsko delo raziskuje okolju prijazno vedenje bodočih učiteljev razrednega pouka in je sestavljeno iz dveh zaključenih celot - teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljena teoretična izhodišča empirične raziskave, in sicer stanje okolja, trajnostni razvoj, okoljska vzgoja, okoljska ozaveščenost, okolju prijazno vedenje in vpliv učitelja na slednje. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena empirična raziskava (n = 159). Proučuje stopnjo okoljskega vedenja prihodnjih učiteljev razrednega pouka, ki obiskujejo 4. letnik (1. stopnje) ali 1. letnik (2. stopnje) ene izmed treh slovenskih pedagoških fakultet, in sicer Pedagoško fakulteto Univerze v Ljubljani, Mariboru ali na Primorskem. Raziskava ugotavlja, da prihodnji učitelji razrednega pouka ocenjujejo pomembnost varovanja in ohranjanja okolja kot pomembno ali zelo pomembno. Njihova stopnja okoljskega vedenja je dokaj povprečna (\bar{x} = 3,23) in povezana z oceno pomembnosti ohranjanja in varovanja okolja: višja kot je ocena pomembnosti varovanja in ohranjanja okolja, višja je stopnja okoljskega vedenja; ne pojavljajo pa se razlike v stopnji okoljskega vedenja glede na univerzo, ki jo vprašani obiskujejo. Nadaljnja analiza je pokazala, da večina vprašanih meni, da pedagoška fakulteta, na kateri se šolajo, ni imela vpliva na njihovo okoljsko vedenje ter da učitelj s svojim okoljskim vedenjem vpliva na učenčev odnos do okolja in njegovo okoljsko vedenje.

The master's thesis explores the environmentally friendly behaviour of pre-service elementary teachers and consists of two completed units - theoretical and empirical work. The theoretical part presents the theoretical foundations of empirical research, namely the state of the environment, sustainable development, environmental education, environmental awareness, environmentally friendly behaviour and the teacher's influence on the latter. The empirical part presents an empirical research (n = 159), which studies the level of environmental behaviour of pre-service elementary teachers attending the 4th year (1st cycle) or 1st year (2nd cycle) of one of the three Slovenian faculties of education at University of Ljubljana, Maribor or Primorska. The research finds that pre-service elementary teachers consider the protection and preserving the environment as important or very important. Their level of environmental behaviour is fairly average (\bar{x} = 3.23) and related to the assessment of the importance of preserving and protecting the environment: the higher the assessment of the importance of protecting and preserving the environment, the higher the level of environmental behaviour is; however, there are no differences in the level of environmental behaviour according to the university attended by the respondents. Further analysis showed that most respondents considered that the faculty of education at which they are educated had no influence on their environmental behaviour and are of the opinion that the teacher influences the student's attitude towards the environment and the environmental behaviour with his / her environmental behaviour. |
