Abstract

V drugem delu smo odrezovali z različnimi prsni koti (5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, 25°, 30°, 35° in 40°) in rezalno hitrostjo 1,2 m/s. Debeline odrezkov so bile 0,05 mm, 0,1 mm in 0,15 mm.

Secondary title: Influence of technological and geometrical blade parameters on the quality of machined spruce wood surface
Secondary abstract: The influence of technological and geometrical blade parameters on the surface quality of machined spruce wood surface has been investigated. The orthogonal linear cutting technique along the grain (90°-0°) was used. The experiment was divided in four parts. In the first part the cutting speed was altered for 0.5 m/s from 0.2 m/s to 4.4 m/s and the rake angle was 20°. Different rake angles (5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, 25°, 30°, 35° and 40°) and cutting speed 1.2 m/s were used in the second part. At rake angle 30° and cutting speed 1.2 m/s oblique angles were altered (0°, 20°, 30°, 40° and 50°) in the third part. In the fourth part we were cutting with different grain direction (0°, 20°, 30°, 40° and 50°) at rake angle 20° and cutting speed of 1.2 m/s. The chip thicknesses ware 0.05 mm, 0.1 mm and 0.15 mm. For each combination of parameters three cuts were made and then the profile of the surface was measured, separately on early wood and late wood. Based on the profile the surface parameters Ra, Rz and Rmax were calculated. The best surface quality was at the rake angle 15°, oblique angle 40°, cutting speed between 1.7 m/s and 2.2 m/s and chip thickness 0.5 mm.
