Abstract

Magistrska naloga se ukvarja z razvojem produkta za krepitev prepoznavnosti lastne blagovne znamke, ki je nastal kot posledica identificiranega problema, ki se pojavlja na trgu. V prvem delu opisuje teoretično ozadje produktnega oblikovanja, raziskavo izbranega področja dela ter iskanje problemov s katerimi se uporabniki soočajo. Na podlagi ugotovitev, je definiran problem za katerega je v drugem delu razvija produktna rešitev. Proces razvoja sledi smernicam metodologije dvojnega diamanta. Za izbran problem so pripravljene različne konceptne rešitve. Glede na predhodno postavljene kriterije je izbrana najboljša, ki je predstavljena z natančnejšimi risbami in virtualnim modelom. Sledi izdelava in predstavitev fizičnega prototipa v realni velikosti.

Secondary title: Design and development of an inovative product for brand awareness enhancement
Secondary abstract: This master thesis deals with the development of an innovative product to increase brand awareness, which resulted from the problem identification for the chosen market area. In the first part, the theoretical background of the product design, the market area research and the identification of user needs from the research are covered. From the set of identified needs, the main problem is defined, for which the product solution is later developed. The whole process of product development is guided by the double diamond methodology. Various conceptual soultions have been prepared for the defined problem, from which the best one is chosen based on the predefined criteria. The latter is further developed and presented with detailed drawings and a virtual 3D model. This is followed by the production and presentation of a full-size physical prototype.
