Abstract

Secondary title: Economic and technical aspects of using computer simulations of cutting processes
Secondary abstract: With the construction of smart factories and the development of the fourth industrial revolution, computer simulations are becoming increasingly important in trimming processes. In order to achieve competitive advantage, the production companies try to shorten the production time, reduce the cost of tool wear and increase the efficiency of their business. Construction of a computer system represents an investment which will help the company in growth and development. The decision to invest into a computer system in Company X is based on an analysis of the obtained data. These include the technical part, such as analysis of turning simulations with the help of available literature, and economic or investment part in which the investment is studied in practical work. With the help of this information, the management of Company X eventually decides to buy a computer system more easily.
