| Secondary title: | Pressure control using feedback pid controller and process virtualization |
| Secondary abstract: | The goal of this thesis is to present a way to mathematically model and virtualize the pressure control process with feedback-loop PID control. It is desirable to achieve a fast and stable reaction to a disturbance or change of the setpoint by controlling the processes. In the thesis we pursued two main goals: to determine a dynamic mathematical model that best describes the experimental results and to use the mathematical model to virtualize the process of pressure control. The experimental work was carried out on a demonstration unit for pressure control RT-634 (GUNT, Hamburg). The obtained data were imported to Matlab and a dynamic non-linear Hammerstein-Wiener model was determined from the experimental results. Finally, we virtualized the process in the Matlab / Simulink environment. The results confirm our assumptions that we can successfully build a virtual pressure control system using appropriate computational methods. The results show that the virtual model allows both stand-alone control studies and the support of studies on the RT 634 demonstration unit. |
