Secondary abstract: | Diploma paper describes procedures of constructing and analysing the tow truck upgrade. Company Arko d. o. o. has been making the tow trucks from steel. Therefore, the mass of the upgrade was quite high. We decided that we will construct models of an aluminium and steel tow truck and compare them. For constructing and computer simulations we used Solidworks software. We found out that the aluminium tow truck has 73 kg (65%) lower mass and adequate strength properties. |
