Abstract

V magistrskem delu z naslovom Barvna slepota - didaktični komplet "Vse barve sveta" za otroke s posebnimi potrebami smo predstavili nekaj teoretičnih izhodišč že znanih dejstev o slepoti in slabovidnosti, o barvni slepoti, branju in pisanju slepih in slabovidnih oseb, brajici in o prvinah tipanke. V praktičnem delu smo opisali izdelane pripomočke in predstavili, kako smo jih preizkusili v praksi. Ustreznost pripomočkov smo preverili z opazovanjem in aktivno udeležbo. Posamezni pripomočki se med seboj povezujejo.

Secondary abstract: The thesis titled Color Blindness - "All Colors of the World" Didactic Kit for Children with Special Needs outlines a few theoretical bases of the known facts about blindness and visual impairment, color blindness, reading and writing skills of blind and visually impaired people, Braille and touch books elements. We also stressed the importance of training the remaining vision, which is of crucial for maintaining functional vision. In the practical part of the thesis, we continue with the description of the self-developed tools and their use in the practical test. We analyzed each tool, and thus verified its usefulness for people with various disabilities. In this thesis, we wanted to verify whether it is possible to make the tactile books and didactic tools that would be appropriate and understandable for children with special needs. We have designed a copyright tactile book titled All Colors of the World and offered it to children of different groups of special needs to read and feel it. Their understanding was checked using a book in a box - which substantiated the understanding of the initial tactile book. Suitability of the tools used was checked by observation and active participation. Individual tools may interconnect.
