Abstract

V magistrskem delu so predstavljene težave, s katerimi se soočajo učenci pri obravnavi množice celih števil in računskih operacij v tej množici. Za poglobljeno razumevanje konceptov pri učencih in učinkovito razlago snovi s strani učiteljev je ključna uporaba različnih reprezentacij. Te predstavljajo vez med konteksti in simboli. Magistrsko delo ponuja pregled pristopov za poučevanje celih števil v osnovni šoli in izpostavi njihove prednosti in slabosti ter uporabnost pri različnih računskih operacijah. Opravljen je pregled prisotnosti reprezentacij v domačih in tujih gradivih, na osnovi katerega so pripravljena učna gradiva za utrjevanje in poglabljanje snovi množice celih števil. Gradiva temeljijo na pestrosti in raznovrstnosti reprezentacij. Učinkovitost pripravljenih gradiv smo preverili na študiji primera ene učenke. Rezultati so pokazali, da je pestrost uporabe reprezentacij do določene mere pripomogla k razumevanju snovi in je bila učenki všeč.

Secondary title: Different representations of integers in elementary school
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis presents the problems that students face in dealing with a set of integers and arithmetic operations on this set. The use of different representations is crucial for an in-depth understanding of concepts by students and an effective interpretation of the explanation given by teachers. These represent the link between the context and symbols. The thesis offers an overview of approaches to teaching integers in primary school and highlights their advantages and disadvantages and their applicability in various arithmetic operations. A review of the presence of representations in domestic and foreign materials was performed, based on which instructional materials were prepared for consolidating and deepening the knowledge of the set of integers. The materials are based on the diversity and variety of representations. The effectiveness of the prepared materials was tested in a case study, which included one student. The results showed that the variety of uses of representations contributed to the understanding of the material to some extent and that the approach was liked by the student.
