Abstract

Beton, kot eden izmed temeljnih in najpogosteje uporabljanih gradbenih materialov, je sestavljen iz mešanice agregata, vode in cementa. Po sušenju beton doseže veliko trdnost in trdoto. Trdnost betona je odvisna več dejavnikov, tudi od trdnosti in granulacije agregata. V diplomskem delu so opisane granodioritne frakcije, ki jih v kamnolomu Cezlak proizvaja podjetje Mineral d. o. o., postopek njihovega pridobivanja, naštete in predstavljene pa so tudi lastnosti tega materiala. Nadalje je v nalogi analizirana betonska mešanica iz granodiorita in nato je ta še primerjana z betoni iz klasičnih agregatov, da bi se ugotovile dobre lastnosti in prednosti ter morebitne slabosti frakcij iz granodiorita.

Secondary abstract: Concrete, as basic and one of the most commonly used building materials, is composed of aggregate, water and cement. After concrete is properly cured and dry, it reaches a great level of strength and hardness. Strength of concrete depends on many factors, as well as on aggregate strength and granulation. The following diploma thesis describes granodiorite fractions produced in Cezlak quarry by company Mineral Ltd., the production process of granodiorite and there are listed and presented the qualities and characteristics of the material as well. Further on in the thesis the concrete mixture made with granodiorite fractions is being analyzed and compared to other types of concrete made with commonly used aggregates, so the qualities, advantages and possible disadvantages of granodiorite fractions can be determined and assessed.
