Naveza ponudbe Botaničnega vrta Univerze v Mariboru s ponudbo športnega turizma in rekreacije v destinaciji Maribor-Pohorje

Abstract

Turizem najpogosteje povezujemo s potovanji, kulturo in drugimi spremljajočimi dejavnostmi. S kombinacijo turizma in športa se razvija ena najhitreje rastočih zvrsti turizma – športni turizem. Ta se osredotoča na doživljanje športne ponudbe v destinaciji. V raziskavi smo se osredotočili na ponudbo športno-rekreativnega turizma v Mariboru in okolici, opredelili njegovo vlogo in s predlogi skušali povezati športni turizem in Botanični vrt Univerze v Mariboru ter privabiti potencialne turiste. Z analizo rezultatov anketiranja smo ugotovili, da je s pomočjo športno-rekreativnega turizma, s pomočjo športnih ustanov in prireditev mogoče tržiti Botanični vrt Univerze v Mariboru.

Secondary abstract:	Tourism is most often associated with travel, culture and other accompanying activities. With a combination of tourism and sport, one of the fastest growing types of tourism is developing – sports tourism. It focuses on experiencing sports activities on offer at the destination. The research focused on the offer of sports-recreational tourism in Maribor and its surroundings, defined its role, and made suggestions in trying to couple sports tourism and the University of Maribor Botanical Garden and attract potential tourists. By analyzing the results of the survey, we found that with the help of sports-recreational tourism, sports institutions and events, it is possible to commercialize the University of Maribor Botanical Garden.
