Abstract
Cilji študije primera so bili: Ugotoviti telesno, duševno in socialno stanje pacientke.

Pregnancy and childbirth are important events in lives of women and their families. It is a period of great expectations and hope, but also a time of fear, pain, sometimes even death. We call childbirth “the ordinary miracle”. It is very special, but also complex - it exceeds all artificial human achievement.
Pregnancy is not an ailment, but rather a physiological process. It does, however, still pose a risk for the health and life of the mother and child. Every woman wishes to bear a healthy child. Diabetes is a serious, but not unbridgeable obstacle in achieving this desire. Good pregnancy planning and control ensure a happy conclusion of the pregnancy. Accurate, correct and up-to-date information concerning pregnancy is vital for the expectant mother.
