diplomsko delo
Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
The theoretical part of the graduation thesis entitled The Impact of the Volume of Physical Activities on the Physical Efficiency of Pre-school Children presents physical development, motor abilities and physical efficiency and activities suitable for pre-school children. The thesis describes the educator's role which is significant in choosing and determining the volume of physical activities contributing to the physical development of a child. The empirical part comprises of research conducted to establish whether the volume of physical activities has an impact on the development of physical efficiency in pre-school children. The causal and non-experimental method was used in the research. The research sample was non-random, ad hoc taken from the specific population of children aged 5-6 years and 4 educators from the Ribnica kindergarten. The data was collected by applying quantitative technique, survey questionnaire with closed-ended and semi-open questions for educators, and through motor proficiency tests for children. The results indicated that children who are physically active once or twice a week are more physically efficient compared to children doing physical activities every day. According to the research, there are no statistically significant differences, but there is a general tendency towards statistically significant differences. Based on the results obtained, we believe that educators did not provide sincere answers to the questions, since many authors of books attach great importance to the physical activity of pre-school children. |
