Abstract

Secondary abstract: An online questionnaire answered by students of Slovene language in Łódź, Katowice, and Warsaw, showed that, in general, they have a positive opinion of Slovenia and the Slovenes, and that their attitude towards the study is critical yet positive. Students wish primarily for more hours of applied language courses and, particularly in the senior years, more translation exercises. Most would also like to see more subjects connected to Slovenia. The respondents noted problems with access to dictionaries, textbooks and other literature, as well as the lack of technical equipment in lecture halls.
