Abstract

Namen učbenika je aplicirati zakonitosti mehanike tal na praktičnih primerih. Prikazani so osnovni postopki za ovrednotenje fizikalnih in mehanskih lastnosti zemljin, ki so osnova za učinkovito reševanje problemov v geotehniki. Glede na obstoječo literaturo s področja mehanike tal je vsebina učbenika razdeljena na 16 poglavij: Uvod, Klasifikacija zemljin, Tri-fazni sestav zemljine, Napetosti v zemljini, Napetosti v sloju tal, Darcyjev zakon, Prepustnost zemljin, Precejanje podzemne vode, Napetosti in deformacije, Eno-dimenzionalni tlak, Konsolidacija, Lezenje, Strižna trdnost, Določitev parametrov strižne trdnosti, Napetosti-teorija elastičnosti in Stabilnostna analiza.
