Secondary abstract: | Ideologies in language and linguistics are a complex and variegated phenomenon. Their formation depends on historical circumstances, they are connected with one another, and at the same time their operation is relatively independent and long-lasting. Language ideology issues observed in the Slovenian linguistic community include the separation between what is domestic and what is foreign, evaluating speakers of Slovenian, and the role of linguistics. |
