Abstract

V življenju se je potrebno nenehno prilagajati in usklajevati. Vse večji je poudarek na problematiki usklajevanja poklicnega in zasebnega življenja. Namen magistrske naloge je bilo raziskati, kako dobro je usklajeno poklicno in zasebno življenje zaposlenih v podjetju X. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pojem poklicno in zasebno življenje ter usklajevanje teh dveh področij. Predstavili smo razlike usklajevanja glede na spol. Podrobneje smo si pogledali posledice ter rešitve usklajevanja poklicnega in zasebnega življenja. V empiričnem delu smo preko spletne ankete anketirali zaposlene podjetja X. Podatke smo analizirali ter jih grafično predstavili. Na podlagi zastavljenih hipotez smo prišli do zaključka, da ženske v podjetju X v primerjavi z moškimi nimajo več težav na področju usklajevanja poklicnega in zasebnega življenja. Ugotovili smo, da imajo v tem podjetju zaposleni na višjih delovnih mestih večje obremenitve, ker delo opravljajo tudi izven delovnega časa. Zaposleni z dopoldanskim delovnim časom pogosto težje usklajujejo poklicno in zasebno življenje in bi si želeli možnost fleksibilnega delovnega časa. Opažamo, da imajo zaposleni z otroci več težav, a kljub temu si vzamejo čas za aktivnosti na tedenski ravni. Vodstvo podjetja se trudi pri reševanju težav, čeprav nekaj zaposlenih ne more zaupati svojih težav. V povprečju lahko trdimo, da imajo zaposleni kljub težavam dobro usklajeno poklicno in zasebno življenje. Priporočili bi, da se podjetje bolj osredotoča na težave in jih poskuša rešiti. Vpeljava fleksibilnega delovnega časa in delavnice o ozaveščanju težav zaposlenih bi morebiti pripomogle k večjemu zadovoljstvu.

Secondary title: Reconciling work and family life in the chosen company
Secondary abstract: There is a constant tendancy in life to adjust and coordinate and therefore a raising issue of balancing between professional and personal life. Purpose of a master's thesis was to research how efficient this balance is between people employed in a company X. In theoretical part we presented a concept of a professional and personal life and balancing between these two fields. We presented the differences according to gender. We had an in-depth look at consequences and solutions of coordinating a professional and a private life. In empirical part we conducted an online survey among people employed in the company X. We analized the data and made a graphical presentation. Based on the hypotheses we came to the conclusion that women from the company X have no more problems in comparison with man, when it comes to balancing personal and professional life. We found that people working on a higher positions have more load, mostly because they are also working after hours and therefore more challenges to cordinate personal and professional life. Employees who work during morning hours have more difficulites with coordinating personal and work life and therefore wish to have more flexible working hours. We noticed that people with children are also experiencing more difficulties, but still take time weekly for personal activities. Management is opened for resolving issues, but several individuals still feel they can't talk about their struggles. If we look at the average we can claim that employees are balancing personal and work life well. Our recommendation is for company to focus on currents issues and trying to resolve them. Implementation of flexible working hours and address issues on a regural basis could contribute to higher well being among employees.
