Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je pripraviti naravoslovno učno pot za predšolske otroke v neposredni bližini vrtca Poljčane. Otroci na učni poti s pomočjo skrivnostnega bitja po imenu Poljčanko spoznavajo naravno in kulturno dediščino kraja Poljčane. Poljčanko otrokom po celotni poti pušča namige in naloge, ki jih ti nato opravljajo na določenih postajah. Sodelovala je najstarejša skupina otrok vrtca Poljčane. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni področje naravoslovja pri predšolskih otrocih, vpliv staršev in pedagoških delavcev na otrokovo učenje naravoslovja, značilnosti učnih poti v različnih okoljih in dosedanje raziskave, ki proučujejo vpliv naravoslovnih učnih poti na otrokov celostni razvoj. Predstavljeni so kraj Poljčane in dosedanje učne poti v tem kraju. V praktičnem delu je na začetku predstavljena pripravljena naravoslovna učna pot, kasneje sta podrobneje opisani njena izvedba in evalvacija. Otroci, stari 5-6 let, že imajo določeno znanje o rastlinah, živalih in ostalih naravoslovnih vsebinah, ki se povezujejo z učno potjo. Ključnega pomena je, da na učni poti to znanje utrjujejo in hkrati na zanimiv in ustvarjalen način pridobivajo novo.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the diploma paper is to prepare a nature trail for preschool children in the close vicinity of Poljčane kindergarten. With the help of a mysterious creature called Poljčanko, on the nature trail children get to know natural and cultural heritage of Poljčane. Along the entire trail, Poljčanko leaves hints and tasks for children to do at certain stops. The oldest group of children from Poljčane kindergarten participated in the activity. The theoretical part presents the area of natural science in preschool children, the influence of parents and school workers on child's learning of natural science, the characteristics of nature trails in different environments and up-to-now research which studies the influence of nature trails on the child's overall development. The town of Poljčane is presented as well as present nature trails in this place. In the practical part, the prepared nature trail is presented first and further on its execution and evaluation is described in detail. 5- and 6-year-old children already have certain knowledge about plants, animals and other natural science content which are related with the nature trail. It is key, however, that through the nature trail children revise this knowledge and at the same time acquire new one in an interesting and creative way.
