Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge so najprej predstavljene različne opredelitve čustveno-vedenjskih težav, ki se izražajo pri otrocih in mladostnikih. Predstavljeni so dejavniki tveganja, varovalni dejavniki, način soočanja s težavo ter podane glavne smernice za usmerjanje in delo s to populacijo. V nadaljevanju se naloga osredotoči na predstavitev terapije in aktivnosti s pomočjo konj in se podrobneje posveti zvrsti, ki se povezuje s psihosocialnim svetovanjem. Predstavljeni so učinki delovanja, zgodovina razvoja terapije s pomočjo konja, terminologija na tem področju in obstoječe raziskave. V empiričnem delu so se v okviru kvalitativne raziskave ugotavljali vplivi psihosocialne obravnave ob konju na mladostnika s čustveno-vedenjskimi težavami. Raziskava se osredotoča na iskanje pozitivnih oblik dela ob konju, doseganje zastavljenih ciljev iz pripravljenega individualnega programa, odzive njegovega vedenja in načine čustvovanja v primerjavi pred in po obravnavi ter opazne pozitivne učinke, ki so izbranemu mladostniku pomagali pri reševanju njegovih težav. Rezultati so pokazali, da je oblika psihosocialne pomoči ob konju pozitivno vplivala na mladostnika s čustveno-vedenjskimi težavami, saj ob upoštevanju določenih pogojev omogoča številne senzomotorične, socialne, komunikacijske ter kognitivne učinke in vzpodbuja čustveno in psihosocialno področje.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of the thesis, various definitions of the emotional and behavioral problems that occur in children and adolescents are first presented. Risk factors, protective factors, the way of dealing with the problem are presented, and the main guidelines for directing and working with this population are given. In the continuation, the work focuses on the presentation of equine therapy and related activities, and in more detail pays attention to the aspects associated with psychosocial counseling. The effects of the operation, the history of development of equine therapy, terminology in this field, and the existing research are presented. In the empirical part, through the qualitative research, the effects of psychosocial treatment with the horse on the adolescent with emotional and behavioral problems were determined. The research focuses on finding positive forms of work with the horse, achieving the set goals from the prepared individual program, and compares adolescent’s behavioral and emotional responses before and after treatment and also focuses on noticeable positive effects that helped the chosen individual to solve his problems. The results showed that the form of psychosocial help with the horse had a positive effect on the adolescent with emotional and behavioral problems. Taking into account certain conditions, it enables numerous sensory, social, communicational, and cognitive effects and stimulates the emotional and psychosocial field.
