Abstract

Anketne vprašalnike smo analizirali in obdelali z uporabo računalniških programov Microsoft Excel in IBM SPSS 22.0.

Secondary title: Organizational climate and satisfaction of nursing providers with work in covid intensive care unit
Secondary abstract: Introduction: The organizational climate and satisfaction are important factors that need to be monitored. Motivated and satisfied employees create a positive organizational climate, which represents a key element to a successful work. In the final thesis we wanted to find out, how the nurses, who were transferred to COVID-19 intensive care unit, due to Coronavirus epidemic, evaluate the organizational climate within the unit and the level of their work satisfaction. Methods: In the final thesis we used a qualitative research method. As a data collection method, we used a survey questionnaire to which we got 100 responds from people working in COVID-19 intensive care unit. We analyzed and processed the questionnaires with the use of computer programs Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS 22.0. Results: We concluded, that on average the nurses are satisfied with the work in the COVID intensive care unit. The deficiencies they stated were mostly regarding management, leaders and work conditions. We have not noticed any significant differences regarding organizational climate between the nurses, whose main unit was Intensive care unit (ICU), and the ones whose main unit was not ICU. Discussion and conclusion: The research results showed, that, despite the stress, the nurses evaluate the work and organization in the Covid intensive care unit as satisfying.
