Abstract

Izobražujemo se z namenom širjenja svojega znanja in spretnosti, s katerimi lahko pozneje zadovoljujemo svoje potrebe in potrebe organizacije oz. delovnega mesta, na katerem smo zaposleni. Da smo za opravljanje tega dela kompetentni, da nam omogoča uporabo tistega, kar smo skozi leta pridobili in česar smo se naučili, sta le dve izmed stvari, ki nam dajeta osebno zadovoljstvo, če sta izpolnjeni. In ker na delovnem mestu preživimo velik del našega aktivnega delovnega življenja, je zaželeno, da zaznavamo delovno zadovoljstvo, saj je le-to kritično za zadovoljstvo z življenjem, kvaliteto posameznikovega delovnega življenja in vpliva na njegovo učinkovitost in pripadnost organizaciji. Da to res najdemo, pa ni v celoti odvisno le od nas samih. V ta proces vključujemo tudi pojme, kot so država, izobraževalni sistemi, ekonomija, gospodarstvo in malo bolj specificirano, tudi posamezna podjetja oz. organizacije. Ko se vse te stvari povežejo in sodelujejo, lahko omogočijo, da bo to stanje zadovoljstva doseglo veliko več ljudi. V diplomski nalogi v teoretičnem delu preučujemo pojme, ki so povezani s problematiko izobraževanja, vertikalnega in horizontalnega neujemanja in zadovoljstvom zaposlenih. V empiričnem delu analiziramo rezultate, pridobljene z anketnim vprašalnikom in odgovarjamo na vprašanja, ki smo si jih zastavili v povezavi s prej omenjenimi pojmi. Ugotovili smo, da so izobraževanje, vsebina dela in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih med seboj povezani, torej da imajo dejavniki enega vpliv na zaznavanje oz. dojemanje drugega.

Secondary title: The influence of education and workplace on job satisfaction
Secondary abstract: The goal of education is to expand our knowledge and skills, with which we can later satisfy our needs and needs of the organization we are working for. Being competent for our workplace and being able to use what we have learned in practice, are only two amongst many things that give us personal satisfaction if fulfilled. And because we spend most of our active working life on our workplace, it is almost mandatory to feel job satisfaction. It is critical for our wholesome perception of life satisfaction, quality of our working life and it also impacts on our work efficiency and commitment to organization. But we alone are not the only ones who can make that happen. Country that we live in, educational system, economy, and more specified, organizations and companies alone, all of those are included in this process. And when all of these connect and cooperate, they can make possible, that this state of satisfaction is reached by many more people. In theoretical part of this thesis, we are covering terms connected to education, vertical and horizontal mismatch, and work satisfaction. In empirical part, we are analyzing results gathered with questionnaire, and answer the questions on which we were focusing in this thesis. We concluded that education, field of work and work satisfaction are connected, therefore one has impact on perception of the other two.
