Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bil vzpostaviti mrežo Bluetooth za krmiljenje LED diod na mikrokrmilnikih iz stikala brez klasične točkovne povezave. Poleg funkcionalnosti same mreže smo v nalogi raziskovali tudi primernost realnočasovnega operacijskega sistema Zephyr, ki v zadnjih letih odločno pridobiva na popularnosti. Najprej smo predstavili teoretično podlago za tehnologijo Bluetooth Low Energy in mrežo Bluetooth ter poleg predstavitve prej omenjenega operacijskega sistema pripravili še primerjavo s FreeRTOS, nato pa opisali implementacijo in zmogljivosti ter možne izboljšave.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis was to establish a Bluetooth Mesh network to control the lights on two microcontrollers from a switch without a classic point-to-point connection. In addition to the functionality of the Bluetooth Mesh itself, we also researched the suitability of the real-time operating system Zephyr, which has been gaining popularity in recent years. We presented Bluetooth Low Energy technology and the Bluetooth Mesh, in addition to the presentation of the aforementioned operating system, we also prepared a comparison with FreeRTOS, and then described the implementation, capabilities and possible improvements of the system.
