Abstract

Družinska podjetja so ključen del vsakega gospodarstva in se srečujejo z edinstvenimi, njim specifičnimi izzivi. V diplomskem projektu smo te izzive podrobneje predstavili in posvetili posebno pozornost problematiki nasledstva, saj ga številni avtorji opredeljujejo kot enega največjih in ključnih strateških izzivov družinskega podjetništva, ki se mu je potrebno začeti posvečati že zgodaj. Pregled vseh možnih načinov prenosa podjetja in pravočasen proces uvajanja naslednika sta za uspešno izvedbo nasledstva. Veliko prednosti, ki jih imajo družinska podjetja, izhaja iz družine same. Odnosi v družini tudi močno vplivajo na uspeh poslovanja družinskega podjetja, zato smo jih v tem diplomskem projektu podrobno obdelali in predstavili. V empiričnem delu smo podrobneje predstavili družinsko podjetje Lorbek & CO. d. o. o., njegove probleme, odnose znotraj družine in prihodnje načrte za prenos podjetja. Ugotovili smo, da se je podjetje že začelo ukvarjati z uvajanjem naslednika in ima dobre možnosti za uspeh.

Secondary abstract: Family businesses are a key part of every economy and face unique, specific challenges. In this thesis, we presented these challenges in more detail and paid special attention to the issue of succession, as many authors define it as one of the biggest and key strategic challenges of family entrepreneurship, which needs to be addressed early on. An overview of all possible ways of transferring a company and the timely process of introducing a successor are also critical to the successful implementation of succession. Many of the benefits that family businesses have come from the family itself. Relationships in the family also have a strong influence on the success of a family business, so we examined them in greater detial and presented our findings in this thesis. In the empirical part of this thesis, we took a closer look at the family company Lorbek & CO. Ltd. and its problems, family relationships, and future plans of transfering the business. We found that the company has already started dealing with the introduction of a successor and has a good chance of triumph.
