Abstract

V končnem delu diplomskega dela so povzete ključne ugotovitve glede povezanosti.

Secondary title: The influence of women in government regarding their share in one: an international comparison
Secondary abstract: The thesis demonstrates the correlation between the proportion of women in national governments and trust in the executive body. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the association between the two variables and to answer the question of whether the level of trust is higher in governments where the share of women is higher. The percentage of women holding ministerial positions is in most countries not high. A leader has the power to influence followers who work for the success of the organization and women as leaders are more open to collaboration and more focused on the relationship with employees. Trust in government is also imperative since it means that an individual has a positive view on the organization. Therefore, a basic level of trust in government is essential for the effective functioning of government institutions. The graphs presented in the following chapters show the ratio between the proportion of women in the national governments of the EU Member States and the proportion of trust in governments. The ratio, between the two variables mentioned above is, with the help of the Pearson correlation coefficient, measured precisely. With my own analysis I demonstrate where the level of trust is higher. In conclusion I summarize the key findings regarding the connection between the proportion of women in the national governments of the EU Member States and the proportion of trust in governments.
